About Us
We are Foot Soldiers for Obama - a group of Prince George’s County volunteers committed to getting Barack Obama elected. The current focus for our office and other nearby Maryland offices (Annapolis & Bethesda) is to support VIRGINIA. As you know, VA is a battleground Red/Republican state that Obama’s campaign believes can be turned Blue/Democratic on November 4, 2008. But our comrades in Virginia NEED our help in order to WIN Virginia!! So we are making calls to and knocking on doors of VA residents.
The Largo office is a Volunteer Office that serves as an essential point of coordination for Obama volunteers in the area who want to make a difference by donating their time, energy, and money in a significant way to the Obama campaign. While we follow the direction of the Obama campaign, we must pay our own way (i.e. raise money to pay the office expenses).
